Commodore Perry Estate is one of Austin’s most significant architectural landmarks; the estate is being restored and reenvisioned. The General Manager leads the team to create an exquisite, intimate urban oasis in the heart of the city that stays true to the property’s architectural heritage. Secluded on nearly 10 acres on Waller Creek, the Commodore Perry Estate comprises a 10,800-square-foot home, a chapel and gardens enclosed within a walled compound in the style of an Italian country villa and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The General Manager supports Auberge Resorts’ mission of being the best loved-operator of one-of-a-kind luxury properties and experiences. He or she is responsible for maximizing the return on investment to the owner of the resort by achieving the objectives of the annual budget, annual business plan, annual marketing plan and annual strategic initiatives in guest service, employee satisfaction, and profitability. Additionally, the General Manager is responsible for providing the highest quality guest service and product, a positive work environment for all employees and maintaining programs vital to the company culture.
