Summary Description
We are searching for an Marketing & Communications Manager with a foundational understanding of the luxury resort space.  This position is tasked to support marketing initiatives that meet organizational objectives of Mauna Lani. The Marketing & Communications Manager will support the development of innovative publicity programs that will increase awareness and drive revenue for the resort.  Success in this role will require an innovative mindset, strong follow through, and a willingness to roll-up your sleeves to make things happen. This position will assist the Director of Public Relations & Communications and Senior Director of Sales and Marketing with responsibilities to include website content management, digital marketing, social media strategy,  marketing communications (public relations and collateral) and other tasks that arise within the sales and marketing function.

Required Qualifications
  • BA or BS degree.
  • Three to five years of experience within the luxury hospitality/travel industry.
  • Strong writing skills and ability to hone a tone-of-voice per platform.
  • Understanding of marketing, advertising, social media and public relations, with an emphasis on digital channels.
  • Experience with social media platforms, consumer engagement and strong awareness of digital marketing platforms.
  • Proactive attitude and the ability to work independently, multi-task, problem solve with strong attention to detail.
  • Computer literate in applications in relevant computer applications required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.
  • Highly responsible & reliable.
  • Team player, with strong communication skills – written and verbal; fast learner.
