About Congaree Golf Club:
Situated on an historic 18th century estate and surrounded by more than 2,000 acres of fishing lakes and Longleaf Pine Forests in South Carolina’s scenic Lowcountry, Congaree is a world-class golf club with a philanthropic mission at its core. Renowned architect Tom Fazio designed the championship course to complement the tradition of the estate and its historic buildings.

But what makes Congaree truly special is its founding purpose – to bring together like-minded ambassadors, providing resources for educational and vocational opportunities to underserved and ambitious youths through a shared passion for golf.

What Else?
As recently covered by Forbes:
The story of Congaree is one of hope, inspiration and giving. It’s a story of making a difference, both locally and globally, through golf and life lessons both on the course and off. The membership process is old-fashioned: by referral only. And while there is no initiation fee, Congaree’s “ambassadors,” as they’re called, are encouraged to not only make a financial contribution to the charitable Congaree Foundation that’s separate from the club, but to take an active role in interacting with youth and sharing their life experiences, both good and bad.

Congaree is a private club offering exceptional golf, hunting, and dining experiences to its members.

Diamond Creek boasts one of Golf Digest’s top 50 locker rooms.  With a Tom Fazio designed course, opened in 2003, Diamond Creek is currently ranked #90 of America’s 100 greatest golf courses by Golf Digest, and features a waterfall at the 17th green.  Membership by invitation only, the Club features other activities including equestrian and shooting sports.  Services and amenities are sophisticated; atmosphere is casual with rustic buildings throughout.
