Role Summary

Join our team as Group Sales Manager, responsible for identifying and sourcing Group business to maximize room revenue. You will report to and work closely with the property Director of Sales & Marketing to ensure that sales strategy and activities are in line with business needs. 

Past experience driving 'Groups' Sales business for a luxury hospitality company is essential to be considered for this position.

The preferred working location for this role is Miami, Florida

Core Responsibilities

This is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done  As part of the Auberge family, we always find new ways to look after the business, our guests, and our team.  Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are to:

  •  Generate Groups business for your hotel, managing key accounts and delivering against financial targets.
  • Evaluate and initiate opportunities for developing new sources of business.  Organize and schedule direct sales efforts via phone, email and in person.
  • Accurately maintain and build your database of clients.
  • Act as an ambassador for Auberge Resorts and our mission of delivering best loved, one of a kind hospitality and experiences
  • Assist as needed on wider company sales initiatives.
  • Attend promotional events, trade shows, community and industry events, and evaluate effectiveness to ensure proper return on investment.

A willingness and ability to undertake consistent business travel, and to work an irregular working schedule are considered essential to this position.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • College degree or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum 3 years sales experience in a related position in a luxury hotel sales environment, and a demonstrated record of driving sales revenues in a hotel environment.

  • Knowledge of sales procedures associated with the hotel industry, and supporting software systems

  • Prior experience working with professional organizations that support hospitality groups business.


We will be looking for a proven ability to negotiate, convince, sell and influence group business decision makers and influencers, and to research and identify top prospects for growth.

As with all successful sales professionals, the selected individual will be self-motivated and driven to achieve goals with limited direct supervision.
