Role Summary
Join our team as Senior Vice President, Food & Beverage supporting our mission of making Auberge the best-loved operator of one-of-a-kind luxury properties and experiences. This role is responsible for F&B excellence across the Collection:
  • creating unique concepts that resonate with their local destination,
  • ensuring that our F&B is renowned for style and vibrancy,
  • overseeing programming and curation of the guest experience,
  • building and inspiring our teams,
  • delivering excellence through service quality. 
This role will work closely with cross-functional team members responsible for Creative Services, Design, Talent & Culture, Marketing, and other Operational areas.

This role will maintain a matrixed reporting relationship with all property F&B and Culinary leaders, and will report to the Chief Operating Officer.

Core Responsibilities
The key responsibilities for this position are:
  • F&B Strategy:  Oversee the development of the F&B strategy for the Collection, develop a point of view on Auberge F&B to deliver on our mission.
  • Operational Leadership: Work with and lead the GMs and RVPs, the culinary professionals and F&B specialists, in delivering consistently excellent F&B operations across the Collection.
  • Programming and Experiences: Partner with our Creative Services team to design distinct and attractive programming in F&B, creating ‘buzz’ in our properties and ensuring that Auberge F&B is renowned for its style and vibrancy, thereby enhancing each property’s unique identity. The goal is for all guests to be delighted by the quality, creativity and variety of our outlets and our F&B offerings, and for F&B to be recognized as a strong competitive differentiator for each hotel in its local market.
  • People: Partner with Talent & Culture to champion our ENRICH Values. Identify internal talent and source external talent as we continue to grow. Ensure employee engagement is maximized.
  • Technology: Partner with IT colleagues to ensure our F&B technical architecture and applications are fit for purpose to deliver business results, today and tomorrow.
  • Openings and Transitions: Work with technical services in all aspects of outlet and kitchen design, layouts and specifications, and the SVP Operations on the operational outcomes.
  • External Partners: Deal honesty and fairly with clients, customers, suppliers and business partners.  Our long-term success is dependent on establishing mutually beneficial relationships.

Required Qualifications
  • Ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of global F&B trends and design direction. 
  • Proven track record with managing F&B outlets in small and differentiated properties.
  • 10+ years of hotel F&B leadership in the U.S., with recent direct experience of successfully overseeing a multi-property, multi-regional portfolio
  • Experience in entrepreneurial, design-led luxury hospitality businesses
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication, with the ability to develop and deliver strong presentations for stakeholders at multiple levels
  • Ability to influence and communicate in a compelling manner, through storytelling
  • Experience opening and concepting restaurants, at the luxury level
  • Bachelor’s degree

Preferred Qualifications/Skills
  • International experience and familiarity with global operations, ideally covering Europe, Latin America, and Africa.
  • Previous experience working in private equity-backed businesses and/or Founder-owned businesses.
  • Master’s degree or MBA
  • Spanish language skills
