Engineering Technician I (Huntsville, AL)

Education: High School Diploma / GED
Months/Years of Experience: One (1) year of applicable experience in engineering technical work that developed skills in making measurements using test instruments and computing, or two (2) years of applicable college/vocational/military/technical school.
Required Qualifications: Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen and must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.
Desired Qualifications: Candidate shall be willing to work outdoors up to 70% of the time regardless of weather conditions, to include hot/humid conditions, cold conditions, heights, and around ammunition and explosives. Candidate shall be able to come to work early, stay late, and work in shifts as testing schedule dictates. Candidate shall be willing to work paid overtime hours and travel at least 30% of the year. Candidate shall work well with others, have a strong work ethic, be a motivated self-starter, be well organized, and be on time to work. Candidate must be able and willing to flex support to multiple capabilities in accordance with mission requirements.
Duties: Install, operate and maintain LOCAITS. Install and operate range equipment (camera's, intercom, video monitors, fiber and ethernet cables).
Comments: Compliance with health mandates as dictated by the contract may be a condition of employment.
