Roles and Responsibilities
Manage daily operations at distribution center servicing the events and trade-show industry.
- Overall responsibility for daily operations to include order fulfillment, shipping, receiving, production, facility maintenance, inventory, and personnel decisions
- Monitor overtime and staffing levels to meet production requirements
- Anticipate issues and proactively address
- Ensure orders are processed 100% complete and on time
- Work with staff, company, and customers to solve concerns
- Measure and manage key performance indicators
- Develop and continuously improve processes
- Maintain adherence to standard operating procedures insuring employees receive proper training
- Responsible for quality of work, product, and employees to meet company standards
- Accountable for following all safety protocols and keeping documentation
- Lead the facility with the service minded culture of the company
Job Requirements
- Experience running a production plant or distribution center
- Experience managing multiple direct and indirect reports
- Demonstrated continuous process improvement skills
- Trade-show experience preferred
Future Initiatives
- Work with leadership to develop growth strategy into a business model
- Work with leadership to insure infrastructure is in place to support additional business including IT, buildings, equipment, and personnel
