Warehouse Inventory Control Specialist (Carrollton, TX; Irving, TX; ...)
Full-time Position
Payrate: $17/hourly + Health Benefits + Referral Bonus
Schedule: Monday – Friday (7am – 4pm)
Job Description:
You will be responsible for maintaining the organization's inventory, ordering and supplying necessary items while maintaining accurate records of all procurements.
Required Experience:
- Must be able to operate the electric pallet jack
- Must be able to operate stand up forklift
- RF scanner experience,
- Able to lift 50 lbs,
- Able to stand for long periods,
- Any other inventory experience a plus.
Job Description / Requirements
- Flexible to work weekends when needed.
- Very detail-oriented when it comes to all orders.
- Able to use technology. (Smart Phones, tablets, etc.)
- Attendance/punctuality a must!
- All PPE’s required
- Must be comfortable working with Rider Pallet Jack
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, oral and written
- Flexibility – ability to effectively adapt to change
- Strong customer service orientation
- Attentive to detail
- Beneficial Skills and Experience
- Previous warehouse experience – Receiving, put-away, picking
Experience in Audit/Inventory Control department
- WMS experience
- Experience working with an Electric Pallet Jack
- Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision
- Aptitude for learning
- Ability to operate standard warehouse equipment
Physical Demands of Job:
- Candidates must be able to lift 30 pounds, occasionally lifting boxes weighing up to 50 pounds
- Frequent reaching with intermittent reaching overhead
- Standing for extended periods of time to perform various duties
- Walking for extended periods of time to perform various duties
- Frequent squatting and/or bending to perform various duties as assigned
