Sit-Down Forklift Operator (Bolingbrook, IL; Joliet, IL)

Full-time Position

Schedule:  Monday - Friday (7am - 2:30pm)

Payrate: $18.75/hourly + Health Benefits + Vision Benefits + Dental Benefits + Referral Bonus

Required Experience: Comfortable operating Crown Reach Equipment

One-year minimum as a FORKLIFT OPERATOR

Operators will be helping support outbound shipments/inbound put away.  They will need to learn our warehouse management system for both these functions as all our picking is done on computers.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

· Ability to learn the WM system quickly

· Accurate counting of units/item description

· Operate sit-down forklift

· Picking will be necessary to jog pallets of product from the location to the dock door

· Loading trailers w/ full pallets of product

· Unloading trailers w/full pallets of product

· Ability to read locations/pick accurately/put away freight accurately

Handler:

· Load or unload tires off and on to trailers

· Use pallet jack to help load full pallets into trailers

· Use pallet jack to unload full pallets into trailers

· Ability to lift as much as 50 lbs. tires

· Accurate counting of units/item description

Minimum Qualifications:

• Able to lift and maneuver cases over 50lbs continuously
• Able to perform basic math
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Candidates must be 18 years of age or older.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check
• Must be able to operate a crown reach forklift
