Bilingual Warehouse Carpet Lanes Shift-Lead

$20/HR - Irving, TX - Day Shift

Shift Type: Day Shift
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday (Occasional Weekends)
Shift Times: 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
 

Payrate: $20.00/HR

REQUIREMENTS: 
 

• Must have at least 1+ years of experience operating Sit-Down Propane Forklift/Counterbalance Forklift 

• Bilingual - English/Spanish

 
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
 

• Leading & directing a small team of Carpet Lane Associates 
• Manage multiple lanes of carpet production & preperation
• Processing, cleaning, preparing, & general production of carpet product needed prior to, and returning from; expo & convention center operations.
• Inspect, QA/QC carpet product quality & remaining life of use.
• Operate sit-down counter-balance forklift
• Obtain instruction regarding daily production needs and expected metrics, and disseminating instruction to the teams working the carpet lanes.
• Perform various leadership duties & responsibilities as needed.

Physical Requirements:

You will be constantly standing, walking, riding, carrying, twisting, bending, balancing, seeing, hearing, and handling paperwork. You will always be lifting objects weighing from less than 20 lbs. to 60 lbs. and occasionally you will be pushing, sitting, touching, reaching, climbing, pulling, and gripping!
 

• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Ability to operate Sit-Down Gas Counterbalance Forklift.
• Compliance with all company policies and procedures.
• Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.
• Ability to understand and follow English instructions.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check.
