Role Summary
Join our team as an Experience Host for Bishop's Lodge, serving the needs of the business, our guests, and our colleagues by executing experiences that are in alignment with Bishop’s Lodge brand and journey map and are unique to Santa Fe and New Mexico. A day in the life could include setting up a whiskey tasting, setting up for a sage bundling workshop, or finalizing costs and itineraries under the creative concept of the Experience and Adventure and Activity Managers.

Core Responsibilities
Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done!  Within the Auberge family, our people always find new ways to look after the business, their guests, and their team-mates.   Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are:

  • Guiding tours & hikes
  • Setting up venues for experiences  (i.e. wine and whiskey tasting, fly tying)
  • Support Manager on the execution of experiences;  seeing the day-to-day for the experiences are organized and confirmed.
  • Coordinating with food and beverage, front office, (in general, dept heads) in order to assure all details for the experience are confirmed and set-up within a timely manner
  • Managing guest expectations
  • Driving guests
  • Facilitating the complimentary experiences
  • Working well with the Lodge Host Team
  • Having fun! 

Skills and Abilities

  • Demonstrated success with developing and executing personalized services: possibly including coordinating events and activities.
  • Experience executing events, guiding tours, and outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, fishing, etc.
Required Qualifications
  • Two years of work experience in a guest service supervisory, or similar role. 
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Hospitality experience is a plus
  • Hosting/guest management preferred
