We're looking for a Customer Service Professional with experience in the manufacturing industry to assist customers with account issues.  As our Customer Service Representative, you will respond to customer requests by collaborating with team members and using resources available within the company to ensure that  B & G's standards for quality and service are consistently met.  

Job Requirements
  1. Ensure that customer service phone lines are attended to in a professional manner.  Maintain timely completion and return of customer inquiries.  Maintain and update customer complaint log.
  2. Correct and amend material test reports. Advise Quality Assurance of discrepancies.
  3. Investigate customer complaints.  Issue debits/credits as appropriate and process returns; follow up with other departments to ensure returns are handled in a timely manner and within quality guidelines. 
  4. Work with freight companies to correct shipping problems.
  5. Communicate pertinent information to the Sales and Marketing Manager.
  6. Develop and maintain highly regarded relationships with customers and fellow employees while projecting a professional example.
MINIMUM  REQUIREMENTS (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Microsoft Office proficiency Excel, Word
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills while interacting with customers and coworkers
  • Ability to solve problems efficiently and effectively
  • Prior customer service experience in a manufacturing environment
