Position Summary: 
Brock Canada is seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic AI/ML Solutions Analyst. Brock is currently exploring opportunities to integrate advanced analytics (AA), artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning (ML) technologies to automate processes, enhance decision-making, and improve the customer experience. Recognizing the transformative potential of these technologies, Brock aims to streamline operations and optimize its organizational processes.

Purpose:
The role will provide technical expertise and guidance, identify, gather, document, and analyze business and technical requirements, and assist in the design, implementation, and support of data and technology-driven projects. These projects will primarily focus on data-centric initiatives.

The successful candidate will contribute to:
  • Business intelligence (BI) and data visualization.
  • Integrated data and analytics platforms/enterprise data lakes.
  • Web portals for data and information sharing.
  • Advanced analytics (AA), artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning (ML).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain financial forecasting models with the estimating team to enhance financial estimating practices.
  • Collaborate with the Project Controls team to develop integrated SQL-querying models (e.g., LLMs).
  • Translate business requirements into technical requirements and deliver practical solutions.
  • Create and manage project documentation, including planning and stakeholder analysis.
  • Facilitate stakeholder consultations and lead stakeholder meetings.
  • Design and document business requirements, functional specifications, and technical requirements.
  • Conduct business process reviews and re-engineer existing processes as needed.
  • Facilitate business process improvement workshops.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new IT services.
  • Schedule, organize, and lead project meetings, including status updates.
  • Bridge communication between vendors, client ministries, and corporate teams.
  • Escalate unresolved issues or risks and provide options and recommendations.
  • Lead business architecture design, software specifications design, and database modeling.
  • Participate in iterative development using model-based processes.
  • Design and document n-tier development environments for complex software solutions.
  • Prepare project artifacts, including XML, UML, or other web-service technologies.
  • Deliver project status reports, outlining risks, issues, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Ensure effective project communication across all phases.
  • Identify and recommend user training needs.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Project Manager for a Business Analyst or Lead Technical Analyst role.

Required Qualifications: 
  • 2+ years of industry experience in developing and deploying ML models.
  • Demonstrated expertise in building forecasting models and/or LLM-based applications.
  • Strong understanding of database design principles and experience with large, complex datasets.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP for deploying models.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel) to present insights effectively.
  • Knowledge of tools like Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines for ML workflows.
  • Proficiency in Python and familiarity with AI/ML libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
  • Advanced SQL skills, including writing and debugging complex queries.
  • Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), including fine-tuning and integration.
  • Strong understanding of AI algorithms, including time series, supervised/unsupervised learning, NLP, and Bayesian models.
