Position Summary:
The Insulation Manager is responsible for managing Brock’s insulation portfolio, ensuring alignment with business growth objectives, labor demands, and workforce development. This leadership role requires a strategic manager who can balance the current labor shortage with operational demands while overseeing insulation craft work and project operations. The position calls for a blend of craft trade knowledge, leadership acumen, business and construction expertise to lead the insulation team and deliver successful project outcomes.

Minimum Requirements: 
  • College degree or technical certification in construction management, business, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • 7-10 years of experience in industrial insulation, including craft trade knowledge and management roles.
  • Proven experience in leading teams, managing projects, and driving business growth.
  • Strong knowledge of insulation materials, systems, and installation techniques.
  • Familiarity with safety standards, industry codes, and labor regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project planning tools and software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
  • Strong business acumen and ability to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a high-pressure environment

Essential Functions: 
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to manage and grow Brock’s insulation portfolio, aligning with business objectives.
  • Lead and mentor the insulation team, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and excellence.
  • Coordinate with clients, supervisors, and other stakeholders to ensure insulation projects are planned and executed efficiently.
  • Manage labor resources to address the current labor shortage, balancing demand with workforce capabilities.
  • Oversee insulation project operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards and project specifications.
  • Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules, identifying and addressing potential risks.
  • Drive business growth by identifying opportunities to expand Brock’s insulation services and client base.
  • Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure timely availability of insulation materials.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including project plans, progress reports, and workforce metrics.
  • Represent Brock in client and industry meetings, building strong relationships to enhance business opportunities.
