About the role
Help keep Brock Canada’s fleet safe, organized, and ready to support project work. Based at our Nisku Yard, the Fleet Maintenance Technician works with the Fleet and Operations teams to prepare vehicles, equipment, tools, and materials for use; complete basic inspections and servicing; and support the safe return, tracking, and storage of fleet assets.

About the role
Help keep Brock Canada’s fleet safe, organized, and ready to support project work. Based at our Nisku Yard, the Fleet Maintenance Technician works with the Fleet and Operations teams to prepare vehicles, equipment, tools, and materials for use; complete basic inspections and servicing; and support the safe return, tracking, and storage of fleet assets.
What you’ll do
- Receive, load, unload, stage, and organize fleet equipment, tools, materials, and supplies for project use and storage.
- Prepare vehicles and equipment for mobilization and help receive, inspect, and organize assets returning to the yard after demobilization.
- Complete basic servicing and minor maintenance tasks, as assigned and within your training, including fueling, oil changes, belt replacements, and basic repairs.
- Clean vehicles, equipment, tools, and storage areas; complete basic inspections and general upkeep to help keep assets ready for use.
- Identify and report damaged, missing, or unsafe equipment, materials, and work conditions to the Fleet Manager or designate.
- Assist with inventory counts, equipment tracking, inspection checklists, and related maintenance records.
- Keep yard, shop, and storage areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Operate forklifts, telehandlers, and other equipment only when trained and authorized; follow work orders, procedures, manufacturer specifications, and safety requirements.
- Work collaboratively with Fleet and Operations colleagues and adapt to changing operational priorities.
What you bring
- A demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and the ability to follow instructions, procedures, work orders, and direction.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to use basic hand tools.
- Good attention to detail and the ability to keep equipment, materials, records, and work areas organized.
- Reliable attendance, the ability to work independently, and a positive approach to working as part of a team.
Assets
- Experience in a fleet, yard, warehouse, industrial, construction, or mechanical environment.
- CSTS 2020 and WHMIS training.
- Forklift, telehandler, or other equipment training or certifications.
- Experience with equipment inspections, inventory tracking, maintenance records, or industrial fleet operations.
