The Spa at Auberge Beach, Fort Lauderdale is looking for talented and highly motivated individuals to join our team and launch out new high-end luxury spa salon directly located on Fort Lauderdale Beach.   Learn with Sheenon Olson, of Atma Beauty and Creative Stylist Consultant to Auberge.


Experienced Hair stylist with at least 5 years or more experience for upscale hair salon at The Spa at Auberge Beach. Preferably have a client base.
Must have a cosmetology license and 5yr minimum experience. We also have a continuing education program available. A following is preferred.
Hair Stylist Job Responsibilities:
A hair stylist serves customers by preparing, conditioning, and styling hair.
Hair Stylist Job Duties:
  • Prepares hair for styling by analyzing hair condition, followed by shampooing and treating hair.
  • Conditions hair and scalp by applying treatments.
  • Plans the desired effect by studying facial features; examining potential styles; conferring with the customer; making recommendations.
  • Produces desired effect by arranging, shaping, curling, cutting, trimming, setting, bleaching, dyeing, and tinting hair.
  • Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
  • Maintains safe and healthy conditions by following organization standards and legal regulations.
  • Obtains revenue by recording or collecting charges.
  • Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing publications.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Maintains supplies by checking stock; anticipating needs; placing orders; verifying receipt.

  • Frequent or occasional need to perform the following physical activities: reaching, bending, pushing, pulling and twisting.
  • While performing the duties of the job, the associate is required to stand for long periods of time, regularly lift and/or move 30 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move 50+ pounds.
  • Constant need to perform the following physical activities: grasping, turning, finger dexterity.
  • Requires assisting guest onto and/or off of massage tables 30-36” high.
  • Assisting people into and/or out of bathtubs (guests may be in excess of 200 pounds).
  • Able to stand and bend to perform strenuous massage techniques.
  • Able to perform a minimum of 6 hours of services per day.
  • Able to transport & set-up portable massage tables in guest rooms.
  • Vision requirements: constant need to view small print.  Frequent need to see small details and things clearly beyond arms’ reach.
  • Hearing requirements: need to need to speak on telephone, respond to general public and converse with staff. Ability to hear fire alarms and emergency equipment.
