Server Attendant

The Dune server attendant is responsible for supporting the server’s mission of delivering memorable drinking and dining experience. You deliver stock and assure all glassware, service ware and tools are in place to assure speedy and efficient guest service. In addition, server attendants may be asked to deliver food and beverage orders to pool guests. Server attendants  possess great team spirit and aspire to be detailed and anticipate needs based on the flow of service. You assist in controlling costs by maintaining careful polished and clean par stocks and limiting waste.

  1. Communicate effectively in English with co-workers and management to their understanding
  2. Greeting and acknowledging all guests within 1 minute of approaching and / or sitting at the table if the server is not available.
  3. Passionate desire to connect with guests and live the Dune brand
  4. Maintain required par stock of clean and polished glassware and service ware as well as linen
  5. Working knowledge of Dune's menus, ingredients and culinary philosophies.
  6. Punctuality.  Demonstrates  regular and reliable attendance
  7. Keep work area clean and organized maintaining health safety procedures for guests
  8. Responsible for assuring that plates, silverware and glassware are removed and replaced per SOP
  9. Maintain complete knowledge of table/seat/station numbers, room capacity, hours of operation, proper dining set-up and dress code
  10. Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment, and use equipment only as intended
  11. Bid farewell to all guests with an invitation to return
  12. Deliver pool guest food and beverage items, upon request
  13. Perform all opening, closing and side duties as assigned
  14. Secure bar areas according to procedure and return keys to their assigned location

  1. High school diploma or equivalent
  2. Experience in hospitality and / or service industry
  3. TIPS training or equivalent

  1. Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, cooperativeness and work with a minimum of supervision
  2. Ability to be well organized, maintain concentration, and think clearly while providing service to many guests at any given time
  3. Ability to accurately compute and manipulate mathematical calculation
  4. Work well under pressure and able to handle multiple tasks at once

  1. Ability to work both indoors and outdoors, sometimes experiencing extreme fluctuations in temperature
  2. Endure various physical movements throughout the work areas, such as reaching, bending and stooping.
  3. Ability to stand and/or walk continuously throughout the shift to perform essential job functions
  4. Sufficient manual dexterity to be able to grasp, load, and carry tools
  5. Ability to endure repetitive motions for extended periods of time
  6. Ability to maintain good coordination while serving orders quickly
  7. Ability to grasp, bend, and stoop; push or pull heavy loads weighing up to 50 lbs; and, lift and/or carry or otherwise move received packages, bottles and boxes
