Title: Nurse Practitioner, Hospitalist Nocturnist

Schedule: Night shifts - 7:00 pm - 7:00 am
Location: Dothan, Alabama

Bonus: $15,000 commencement bonus with a 1-year commitment

Employed Hospitalist group seeks acute-care trained Nurse Practitioners to join its robust and well-established growing practice. This facility manages its Hospitalist program, which includes over 25 board-certified Internal Medicine physicians. Dothan is the 7th largest city in Alabama and offers a short 90-mile drive to the FL Gulf Coast beaches, a low cost of living, and excellent educational facilities.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of Inpatient Acute-Care Nurse Practitioner experience
  • Active Alabama CRNP license with no restrictions
  • BCLS & ACLS certifications
  • Passed the SAMC pharmacology exam
  • DEA certification
Highlights:
  • 7 on/7 off block schedule
  • When on rotation, will work on a team with 2 physicians and 1 other NP
  • Provide coverage for unassigned patients who present to ED requiring inpatient care, care for transfers, and in-hospital consults
  • NP will cross cover in the ICU - no admissions or procedures required in ICU
  • 24-hour subspecialty support for all specialties, including in-house radiology physician
