Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Surgical Neuro ICU Registered Nurse to join our dedicated healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide specialized nursing care to patients with complex neurological and neurosurgical conditions in a high-acuity intensive care setting. The RN will play a crucial role in delivering advanced patient care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and supporting patient recovery and family education.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to critically ill neuro and neurosurgical patients.
- Monitor and assess patients' vital signs and neurological status.
- Administer medications, treatments, and advanced nursing procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients and families, providing education and support.
- Utilize critical thinking to make informed clinical decisions.
- Identify and respond to complications and emergencies.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Adhere to hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
- Engage in professional development and quality improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- California Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- at least 1 year Nursing experience.
