Summary:

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU), you will be able to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a progressive setting. This role involves closely monitoring patients requiring intermediate care, such as those recovering from surgery or critical illness. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in alignment with patient care plans, hospital policies, and regulatory standards. Responsibilities:
- Provide care in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) for patients with a variety of medical conditions, including those requiring close monitoring and interventions.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, staff, and volunteers to exceed patient expectations and deliver high-quality, compassionate care.
- Participate in a team approach to patient care, ensuring a seamless experience for patients and their families.
- Utilize critical thinking and technical skills to provide the best possible outcomes for patients.
Required Qualifications:
- BSN from an accredited school of Nursing
- Active PA Registered Nurse License
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in ICU, PCU, or Med/Surg
- BLS, ACLS, and CPI certifications (can be completed during orientation)
