Job Summary:
Electronic Technician has crucial role in maintaining and ensuring the reliability of our manufacturing equipment. You will be responsible for conducting preventive maintenance on motors, conveyor systems, and other production machinery. Additionally, you will play a key role in process improvement and problem-solving initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions using logical and systematic methods.
  • Perform routine maintenance, including field fault analysis, calibration, component replacement, and alignment to specifications.
  • Repair and maintain various electronic and digital equipment, as well as AC/DC motors and controls.
  • Conduct fault analysis on relay logic, motor control circuits, motor power circuits, and utility/lighting circuits.
  • Utilize PLC logic programming to troubleshoot production equipment.
    Replace failed parts or components and adjust equipment to meet operational specifications.
  • Recommend procedural changes based on equipment behavior.
  • Test electrical systems and circuit continuity using devices such as ohmmeters and voltmeters to ensure proper operation and safety.
  • Install, examine, replace, or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records to establish historical data and future maintenance needs.

Quality and Safety:

  • Maintain a continuous learning attitude to stay current with maintenance procedures and equipment.
  • Complete annual Maintenance Skills Assessment.
  • Report all accidents, incidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions immediately to the supervisor.
  • Follow prescribed safety procedures to prevent injury and maintain safe equipment and conditions.

Physical/Environmental Demands:

  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of working safely in an industrial maintenance environment.
  • Adhere to all company environmental rules/procedures and handle materials to minimize environmental impact.

Qualifications:
  • High school graduate or equivalent. Technical degree is preferred.
  • Manufacturing machine experience with PLC from a technical side (not programming).
  • 3 Phase and AC/DC motor drive experience.
  • Ability to read schematics.
  • Strong electronic background.
  • Computer skills (Microsoft Office, CMMS, Excel, etc.).
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and OEM manuals.
  • Familiarity with normal test equipment (multimeters/oscilloscopes).
  • Ability to read and interpret precision measuring devices.
  • Capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work in a high-speed, fast-paced environment.
  • Must pass written and hands-on certification tests.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment is preferred
