We are seeking a dedicated Renal Nurse Supervisor to join a leading outpatient dialysis clinic in South Burlington, Vermont. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Nurse Manager and Director of Renal Services to oversee daily operations and manage clinical staff in our 18-chair facility. This position requires strong leadership to ensure that staffing needs are met, professional relationships are fostered, and that all team members adhere to established protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor clinical staff, ensuring team cohesion and effective communication.
• Manage staffing levels to ensure optimal patient care and operational efficiency.
• Monitor compliance with departmental policies, providing feedback and guidance as needed.
• Oversee the orientation and training of new staff members.
• Conduct annual performance evaluations in accordance with organizational policies.
• Provide direct patient care as needed to maintain clinical competency.

Qualifications:

Must-Haves:

1. Proven leadership experience within a dialysis unit (e.g., as a Facility Administrator, Nurse Manager, or Clinical Manager).
2. A minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a dialysis RN.
3. Active Vermont nursing license or the ability to obtain one.
4. Experience in people management, including recruiting, training, and performance management.

Nice-to-Haves:

1. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
2. Experience with dialysis unit surveys.
3. Familiarity with quality improvement initiatives.
