Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Sonographer to perform diagnostic ultrasounds in OB/GYN, working both independently and in collaboration with physicians and peers. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out ultrasounds under physician supervision while mentoring and supporting less experienced team members. This position requires advanced certification and extensive experience in sonography. You will contribute to ensuring high-quality care, maintaining a patient-focused approach, and driving continuous improvements in the department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasounds and other required modalities as per department needs.
- Collaborate with physicians and colleagues, ensuring exams are conducted efficiently.
- Mentor and educate staff at various levels, sharing expertise and knowledge.
- Uphold the credentialing standards required for the role and maintain compliance with all applicable regulations.
Required Qualifications:
- ARDMS OB/GYN certification.
- Graduation from an accredited diagnostic sonography program.
- At least 6 months of post-clinical scanning experience, with a focus on OB/GYN.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Experience in Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM).
- Strong teamwork skills.
- Effective communication abilities.
- Proven critical thinking skills while scanning.
