Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our esteemed cardiology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with cardiovascular diseases using non-invasive techniques. This role focuses on patient care, preventive cardiology, and non-invasive diagnostic testing, ensuring the highest standards of cardiovascular health.
Responsibilities:
- Expertise in noninvasive cardiology including echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, vascular noninvasive studies, and trans and trans esophageal echocardiography (TEE).
- 50% Hospital and 50% outpatient clinic
- Practice Setting: Outpatient Cardiology clinic and EKG, hospital inpatient rounding, reading non-invasive cardiovascular studies, performing TEE and the ability to read vascular studies.
- Daily census for inpatient rounding is: 15-20
- The procedures expected to be performed include TEE and electrical cardioversion. The number of cases per week is about 4 to 6.
- Perform TEE’s during Watchman procedures and electrical cardioversions.
- Ability to teach Medical Students
Required Qualifications:
- BC/BE in non-invasive cardiology
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Completed residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Cardiology.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiology.
- Valid medical license to practice in Pennsylvania
Preferred Qualifications:
- Board Certification in ECHO and Nuclear Cardiology is a plus.
- Experience with non-invasive cardiology
