Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist with strong Quality Control (QC) expertise to join a leading healthcare provider. You’ll play a key role in ensuring compliance with all QC standards, managing inspections, and maintaining high-quality imaging services. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee quality control operations for mammography services, including inspections and adherence to ACR standards.
• Perform mammography procedures independently, utilizing your judgment and expertise.
• Maintain accurate records of quality control data and ensure timely submission for inspections.
• Work collaboratively with radiologists and other medical staff to ensure quality patient care.
• Stay informed on the latest technologies in mammography and share best practices within the team.
• Troubleshoot imaging and software systems, including PACS, HIS, and RIS.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and hospital policies, ensuring patient confidentiality at all times.
• Demonstrate commitment to Patient Experience Excellence in every interaction.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Diagnostic Technologist.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Mammography Technologist.
• Previous QC/ACR experience is preferred.
• Graduate of an ACR-approved Radiologic Technology program.
• Certifications:
  • ARRT(M) – Mammography
  • ARRT(RTR) – Registered Technologist Radiography
  • CPR certification
  • Massachusetts License in Radiography and Mammography
• Strong patient care and team-building skills.
• Must meet continuing education requirements in both radiology and mammography.
