Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct urological ultrasound exams in both clinical and OR settings.
- Prepare patients and ensure high-quality imaging for physicians.
- Work independently to handle PACs (Picture Archiving and Communication Systems) and hospital information systems.
- Assist with OR cases and adapt to potential changes in work hours.
- Maintain and utilize sterile techniques, including setting up sterile trays.
- Lift and move patients and equipment regularly to ensure proper care.
Qualifications:
- Preferred: 3+ years of experience as an Ultrasound Technician.
- Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Sonography Technology Program.
- Must obtain ARDMS or ARRT registry within 2 years of employment.
- Additional diagnostic technologist registration and state licensure are preferred.
- MALIC: Massachusetts Radiography License.
- CPR Certification is required.
Skills & Abilities:
- Proficient in conducting urological imaging with portable equipment.
- Knowledge of sterile techniques and setup for urological procedures.
- Ability to work effectively under high-pressure conditions and handle a high volume of cases.
- Strong physical stamina, including the ability to lift and move patients and medical equipment.
