Job Summary:

As a Commission & Field Service Specialist III, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, commissioning, and start-up of SCR projects. This role demands hands-on expertise in managing and maintaining industrial equipment, specifically in copper and aluminum rod mills. You will collaborate with engineering teams to ensure optimal performance and address any issues that arise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the customer installation of SCR systems independently.
  • Install, configure, commission, and troubleshoot continuous processing systems, including pumps, motors, and valves.
  • Identify and solve complex problems to improve processes and equipment.
  • Assist in specifying, installing, and modifying SCR systems.
  • Manage the SCR service program, including periodic audits, vibration analysis monitoring, and PM program for end users.
  • Develop and maintain PM documentation for SCR equipment.
  • Conduct customer training on system features and general maintenance.
  • Provide technical support to customers and new employees.
  • Generate daily progress reports during startups and field service visits.
  • Prepare analytical reports and recommendations to improve operations and resolve maintenance issues.
  • Document customer visits, process audits, and troubleshooting methods.
  • International travel up to 25%, potentially for several weeks at a time.

Education and Experience:

  •  Minimum of 5 years Industrial Equipment Installation and Maintenance and an Engineering Degree  -OR-
  • Minimum of 15 Years Experience with Direct Industrial Equipment installation and Maintenance Management
  • Strong interpersonal communication, organizational skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities, and flexibility in adapting to changing requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Self-motivated and minimal supervision required.
  • Proven track record of successful project completion.
  • AutoCad experience or willingness to learn.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and OEM manuals.
