Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct imaging procedures per physician orders, utilizing advanced diagnostic equipment.
- Apply clinical knowledge for patient positioning, radiation dose calibration, and optimal image quality.
- Ensure minimal radiation exposure and maintain high standards of safety and quality for both patients and staff.
Required Qualifications:
- Completion of education necessary to meet certification and licensing requirements.
- Oregon Radiographer License or Oregon Radiographer Temporary License upon hire.
- National certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within six months of hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
- New graduates must hold an OBMI temporary license upon hire and obtain a permanent license within six months.
