About the Role
Join a compassionate team as an MRI Technologist in our established healthcare system. We are actively hiring for multiple positions within the MRI department, including full-time, part-time, and on-call roles. Flexible scheduling is available to meet diverse needs. Part-time night shifts are particularly open, with options like Monday-Tuesday or Wednesday-Friday, offering consistent time off.
As an MRI Technologist, you will conduct Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) exams per physician orders, utilizing advanced MRI equipment. Your work will include adjusting imaging techniques for patients’ specific needs, ensuring optimal image quality, and supporting patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI examinations following physician instructions, using specialized imaging techniques.
  • Adjust imaging protocols based on patient requirements, focusing on quality and precision.
  • Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team, providing valuable insight into each patient’s imaging needs.
  • Prioritize patient safety and comfort throughout imaging processes.

Required Qualifications
  • Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
  • Must hold an Oregon Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist License or a Temporary License upon hire.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification required upon hire.
  • Achieve National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or Certified MRI Technologist status within 6 months of hire.
  • OBMI Temporary License required, with a permanent license to be obtained within six months.

Preferred Experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge in MRI imaging protocols and patient care best practices.
  • Ability to work within a collaborative team environment.
  • Familiarity with the operational aspects of MRI equipment and maintaining imaging quality standards.
