We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Intensive Care Unit Telemetry Float team. In this role, you will deliver compassionate, patient-centered care as part of a collaborative team. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, ensuring high standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care by assessing and identifying nursing diagnoses, implementing treatment plans, and monitoring outcomes.
- Advocate for ethical, holistic patient care while respecting their dignity and rights.
- Foster learning among patients, families, and colleagues, supporting both formal and informal education.
- Incorporate evidence-based practices and safety standards into patient care, driving improved outcomes.
- Engage in professional development and model leadership within the practice setting and the wider community.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Active Washington State Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association upon hire.
- Completion of NIH Stroke Scale Training Certificate within 90 days of hire.
- At least 1 year of ICU Telemetry nursing experience.
- Expertise in ICU and telemetry nursing.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills within inter-professional teams.
