Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery/NICU units
- Ensure safe, high-quality, and efficient patient care
- Develop, implement, and assess policies, procedures, and performance goals
- Manage department budgets and ensure financial efficiency
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance evaluations for nursing staff
- Lead hiring, recruitment, and training efforts
- Maintain compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements
- Collaborate with hospital leadership to drive strategic initiatives
- Current RN Licensure in North Carolina
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (BSN preferred)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) certification
- Master’s degree (highly preferred)
- At least 2 years of management experience
