Consilium is seeking a Content Writer to produce and edit content in support of multiple lines of business. The Content Writer will produce various pieces of content, including copy for web pages, email campaigns, blogs, social media, brochures, whitepapers, eBooks, marketing slicks, bylined articles, and press releases.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Experience Required:
  • Five years of experience in a prior copywriter, editor, or communications position
  • Previous marcom experience creating content for campaigns, websites, advertising collateral, and social media
  • Working knowledge of best communication practices, especially as it relates to website, SEO, social media, email, social media, and omnichannel marketing campaigns
Required Skills:
  • Exceptional written communication skills
  • Copy editing / proofreading experience
  • Ability to write long-form articles from content briefs
  • Expertise in writing for content optimization (SEO) with keyword integration
  • Superior organizational and self-motivation skills
  • Ability to manage, assign, and track team projects
  • Ability to track and report metrics of success
  • Ability to work well within a team environment with competing priorities
  • Ability to react in a constructive manner to direct feedback and constructive criticism
  • Attention to detail with respect to adhering to and enforcing Consilium brand standards
Job Duties:
  • Produce and edit content for various forms of marketing material – web pages, blogs, brochures, sell sheets, case studies, social media posts, eBooks, infographics, etc.
  • Compose thought leadership pieces, including whitepapers, eBooks, and bylined articles
  • Edit and proof the copy of other writers
  • Create the appropriate message and tone of voice for various audiences
  • Work within the Consilium marketing team to produce marketing campaigns
  • Review all external-facing pieces of branded/marketing collateral before they’re published
  • Assist other team members during peak periods of conferences, product rollouts, major campaigns, or other marketing initiatives to ensure that all deadlines are met
  • Own assigned pieces of the Consilium marketing plan
  • Create and actively/regularly measure and report metrics to measure success
  • Enforce Consilium design/brand standards
  • Work with various teams including product owners, sales, marketing peers, support team, and executive team members to develop a collaborative process for producing and editing content
  • Take responsibility for content development initiatives
  • Work collaboratively with team members to provide and receive feedback with tact and diplomacy
