The File Intake Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the file opening team, provide oversight and manage workflow of the team, and ensure necessary support and tools are available for the team to timely open new files in our accounting system as well as our case management system. This position regularly works with attorneys, staff, and administration within the firm.

Requirements
  • · Oversee file intake team to ensure proper opening of firm files.
  • · Ensure information secured through the file intake process is accurate and in compliance with    firm and client requirements prior to entry.
  • · Professional follow up with attorneys and support staff for additional information.
  • · Oversee the file closing team.
  • · Ensure file changes are timely completed and the appropriate parties notified.
  • · Work closely with the cash applications team on trust matters.
  • · Conduct timely opening of new matters upon submission of appropriate information. 
  • · Contribute to the maintenance and updating of information in our accounting system.
  • · Assist in the file opening process during the onboarding of new attorneys to the firm.
  • · Understand and appropriately utilize all firm systems.
  • · Coordinate with conflicts team and firm counsel as needed.
  • · Coordinate with other members of the accounting team as needed.

Requirements/Skills: 

  • · Associates' Degree or relative experience in a law firm
  • · Experience with Aderant or Elite 3E preferred
  • · Direct file intake experience preferred
  • · Experience with Microsoft Office
  • · Strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • · High attention to detail
  • · Excellent organizational skills
  • · Able to multitask in a high-volume environment
$60,000 - $62,000
