We are recruiting for a Contract Administrator for a client in Northeast Columbia. 
This position requires experience working with Federal Acquisition Processes and Excellent writing skills!

Broad Function:

Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining contract department operational procedures. Determine scope of requirements for solicitations/RFQs and existing contracts. Administer contracts/awards once they are awarded.

Principal Responsibilities:
·         Assemble and prepare cost estimates for executive approval. Prepare proposal to customer, for response by bid closing date.
·         Organize and represent the company during pre/posy award activity.
·         Monitor deliveries on assigned contracts to insure contract schedule is met to maximum extent possible.
·         Coordinate with all departments as necessary to insure effective contract and proposal administration.
·         Act as liaison between company and customer. Work effectively with the customer to understand issues and develop solutions.
·         Assume other responsibilities as directed or required.

Education/Experience Requirements:
·         A college degree and/or related experience in the contracts area preferred.
·         Experience working with the federal acquisition process.
·         Excellent analytical and writing skills.
·         Professional communication skills necessary for interface with customers, coordinating departments, and management.
·         The ability to use word processing and spreadsheet applications.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is frequently required to stand, talk, and hear. The employee must occasionally walk, sit, and reach with hands or arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
