Work Schedule is 12 hr. rotating shifts - 7a to 7:30p and 7p to 7:30a
Operate Extrusion machines, using various tools and equipment protected by law to prepare product for shirring. Consult with Team Leads and other personnel to resolve problems, such as equipment performance, output quality, and schedules. Provide quality control analysis by conducting inspections of product and equipment to evaluate quality and performance, also Confer with management and subordinates to resolve machine, operator, and/or product quality issues. Responsible for monitoring testing, recording data, handling solutions preparation, and some testing. Observe work and monitor indicators to ensure that operators conform to production standards. Responsible for maintaining data on batches produced and manually reporting results on board (i.e., items added, amounts added, time, how long batch ran, etc.). Gather data from computer and use to report manually. Complete log entries and production paperwork. Comply with all Company standards to include safety, food safety, hygiene, quality and OSHA food safety regulations as well as responsible for general cleaning and sanitation. Responsible for set up to established standards based on information provided. Operate equipment that handles transfer of product; operate pallet jack. Responsible for handling some diluted chemicals and dyes for mixing.
