CIS is recruiting dedicated, capable candidates for PC Board Test Technicians for a manufacturing client in Batesburg-Leesville. This is a full time position and is temp - hire with a great starting rate and excellent benefits when hired on. Please see requirements and description below. This position is a first shift opening, see hours below. 

Monday - Thursday: 7AM - 3:30PM
Friday: 6AM - 2:30PM

The PC Board Test Technician is responsible for installing and maintaining test systems, software, equipment, and troubleshooting production hardware to the component level. Core responsibilities include; 
  • Support production with failure analysis, tester debugging, reduction of false failures and downtime of test equipment.
  • Support production with production testing when needed.
  • Provide training in new procedures to production testing staff
  • Maintaining customer supplied test equipment inventory.
  • Trouble shoot failed production hardware to the component level.
  • Maintain and program AOI inspection station.
  • Maintain and debug flying probe tester.
  • Must be able to read/write and follow directions in English
  • Standing for extended periods

  • Walking Lifting/carrying more than 20 pounds various items

  • Pushing/Pulling
  • Bending/Stooping
  • Must be able to distinguish colors, fine detail, & tones
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE - 
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in similar position in electronic industry is required
  • Associate Degree, Trade/Vocational School certificate or Equivalent required.
  • Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred.
