Your next calling: 
As the Project Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to provide the organization and structure to the company by managing business development’s bid submissions. The Project Coordinator is in charge of managing our timelines, drafting, managing documents, collecting information and keeping the department in accordance with our corporate processes.

Functions key to success:
  • Analyze, coordinate and gather data and documents (from Cintra and Ferrovial employees and project partners) worldwide to direct, draft and review bid submission documents.  Produce bid volumes and electronic files for prospective clients by due date to ensure accurate and timely project submissions
  • Circulate and process invoices for payment by corporate and concession entities to ensure accurate and timely payment to vendors, subcontractors and consultants.  Coordinate document/information transfers to and confirmations from appropriate entity for timely payment or re-invoicing, as appropriate
  • Research and compile project and Public-Private Partnership (“P3”) process information for department through Internet research, e-mail, and periodical review, resulting in e-mails, hard folders and binders of department reference data 
  • Develop and maintain department library of project submission binders and reference material
  • Draft project checklists in MS Excel and document templates in MS Word and MS Excel for collaboration with Project Managers and project team in drafting wholly responsive bid submissions for projects throughout North America
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

What you bring to the table:
You have worked hard to achieve success in your educational career, now put it to use. If you have a Bachelor’s Degree  in Business Administration, or related field, you are halfway there with the needed abilities for this position. Do you have at least  3 + years of experience as a proposal /project coordinator? If the answer is yes, that would be the cherry on top.

Finally, in a technology-driven world, it is important to know your way around a computer. For this role, it will be important to know the basics of the following:
  • Must be able to demonstrate computer proficiency, especially with Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point and other PC based programs
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite or similar design software is a plus
  • Knowledge of public-private partnerships (PPPs) or transportation infrastructure is preferred

Our working environment:
Cintra wants to ensure that all employees are comfortable and able to work in the type of culture and environment we have built our business on. Our office is typically quiet with low noise levels; however, you will often hear employees laughing and talking amongst themselves. Effective communication will be key for this role and will require you to talk and hear others. You will probably spend a majority of your time sitting and/or walking around the office, whether to visit a co-worker or make it to a meeting on time and there may be occasional long hours to put in if you are diligently working to complete a project and finish a report. Specific vision abilities required by this job include ability to adjust focus, as necessary to use a computer.  There could be a time when you may need to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, but not very often.
