Parts Mover- Frontend

Primary Purpose:

 Under the supervision of the Manufacturing Supervisor, the Parts Mover provides the movement of all parts within the PCT frontend processes.
Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Coordinate part movement between all Frontend processes.
  • Retrieve & Deliver components/tools to the assembly and molding team.
  • Retrieve aluminum dies from storage using approved material‑handling methods, including forklift operation and overhead crane use when required. Dies typically range from 25–250 pounds and are moved via carts, cranes, and Forklift.
  • Work closely with Production Lead and Supervisor on part priority, production needs, and report any process flow interruptions.
  • Operate small presses occasionally to produce assembly components.
  • Assemble basic wax components for Mid Plant Operations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with company safety policies and 5S expectations.
  • Assist with basic equipment cleaning, minor adjustments, and routine preventive maintenance tasks as directed.
  • Support material movement, staging, and workflow needs across the department during peak demand or staffing shortages.
  • Perform Leach Room operations which includes working with mild acid baths used in the cleaning and preparation process for wax molds, moving molds in and out of mild acid baths, cleaning molds, and following all chemical‑handling requirements and using respirators and other PPE when required.
  • Participate in safety meetings, quality discussions, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support production goals and operational needs.
 
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • HS diploma or equivalent GED required.  However, candidates who possess relevant experience may be considered, in lieu of a diploma.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age. 
  • Demonstrate ability to effectively organize and schedule work, follow detailed instructions, and communicate effectively.
  • Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment background check.
  • Must be willing to participate in pre-employment and periodic drug screening.
  • Must take a base line hearing test prior to starting.

Working Conditions:
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to use tool movement devices (carts, cranes, forklift)
  • Consistent walking and pushing carts as well as occasionally kneeling to attach Hardware to Assembly components.
  • The job is performed under reasonably good working conditions with some exposure to noise, temperature, and machinery.

Schedule: 
  • Day Shift: Monday-Thursday 5:00am-3:30pm  
  • Weekend Day Shift: Friday-Sunday 5:00am-5:30pm
