Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) is currently seeking a 2nd shift Production Supervisor to join our managerial team. The Supervisor works closely with the manufacturing operations team, seeking to maximize productivity at minimum cost of assigned department(s) as well as offering support and direction to hourly staff to meet productivity and quality objectives. Major Responsibilities:
  • Ensures effective employee relations, to include coaching and development as well as seeks to resolve employee concerns through active listening and respectful communication.
  • Acts as role model regarding safe behaviors and ensures accountability for following all safety procedures.
  • Balances quality, productivity, cost and morale to achieve positive results in all areas. 
  • Along with Department Lead, trains new employees on basic skills and all employees on new procedures and processes.
  • Conducts annual performance reviews.
  • Implements company policies.
  • Develops and implement corrective actions.
  • Understands and communicates to employees the quality specifications required by customers.
  • Acts as liaison between Engineering/Quality and departmental staff to communicate product needs and process/productivity changes needed to improve on-time product flow.
  • Assigns and/or performs preventative maintenance on equipment and report any needs to maintenance department.
  • Inventory and orders necessary supplies for department.
 Key Dimensions
  • Monthly production goods and services as per the estimated manufacturing cost and minimum inputs of resources.
  • Produce right quality goods and services as per the established standards and specifications.
  • Produce goods and services as per the decided time schedule.
  • Minimize the total cost of production with continuous elimination of non-value added activities and improving labor productivity.
About You:
  • 4+ years previous experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
  • Proficient MS Office suite of software (i.e. Word, Excel, Power Point. etc.)
  • Excellent written, verbal & presentation communications skills
  • Strong commitment and focus on safety
