CPP-Syracuse is a manufacturer of premium investment castings for the Air Craft and Industrial Gas Turbine industry. We have over 275 employees currently working in our Chittenango, NY facility.

We are currently looking for an experienced individual for our Tool Room.

Tool & Die Maker – This position the successful candidate to perform duties related to the building and repairing of injection dies.  This position will also require the successful candidate to be responsible for the repair, design and fixturing of gages and molds to very close tolerances. Experience with mulit-cavtiy dies required.   The candidate will need to know how to read blueprints, drawings, manuals and specifications to determine dimensions, tolerances, sequences of operations and setup requirements.  The candidate will need to have the ability to set-up and operate bridgeports, lathes, drill presses, band saws, grinders and various other tool room equipment, HAAS experience preferred.  Adherence to all safety policies, practices and procedures is required.  The successful candidate will have the ability to work independently and have the ability to maintain attention to detail and multitask.  Previous Tool & Die Maker experience required.  Prefer journeyman level experience. 


  • Education: Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or four years related experience and/or Apprenticeship program; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Journeyman Tool Maker / Mold Maker with minimum 5 years experience.
  • Experience with Cam Software & Cam Work Software experience a plus.
  • Experience required in die cavity work including the construction of new wax injection dies from drawings or models.
