Consolidated Precision Products (CPP)- Syracuse is a manufacturer of premium investment castings for the Aircraft and Industrial Gas Turbine industry which has been in business for over 70 years. We are currently looking for a Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee our 2nd shift manufacturing processes. CPP – Syracuse is located in Chittenango, NY and employs over 275 employees.  This supervisor will be on the second shift {Monday - Thursday 3:30 pm - 2:00 am}

The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe work environment for all employees. Will be accountable to build and improve processes to create a quality product. Ensures that standardized work is in place for all processes and adherence to all quality standards.

Must be able to lead, support and plan improvement using Systematic Problem Solving. This position will ensure production goals and schedules are accomplished, manage staffing levels and requirements, Responsible for resource planning in preparation for new product.

Accountable for timely preventative maintenance of all equipment. Proposes equipment needs for capital project implementations and may also participate in project implementation. Ensure problems are correctly identified and cost effective solutions are implemented. Initiate improvements to save material and energy costs. Responsible for the development of departmental budgets and reports as well as review monthly actual performance and provide gap analysis.

Manufacturing Supervisors also resolve employee performance and discipline issues including attendance, employee relations, and violation of company policy. Responsible for understanding and assisting employees through the process of change. Develop employees for future positions.

This position requires Associates degree; or four to ten years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Manufacturing experience a plus. Must have the ability to read, understand and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, Oracle reports and Internal Method Sheets (IMS). Must have excellent team building and interpersonal skills. Must be able to interact professionally with all levels of employees and management. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Manufacturing software preferred.
