Make lab certifications, create NDT techniques, perform tensile testing and chemistry analysis.
  • Perform daily checks. 
  • Receive samples, test and report results.
  •  Organize and/or Scrap test bars out after the required timeframe. 
  • Send email notification about NDT and tensile failures.
  •  Ability to cross-train and learn other areas as well.  
  • Create techniques for NDT using digital photos and software.
  •  Make NDT certificates, get them approved, make copies and release for transfer to the next department.  
  • Ability to cooperate and work effectively with others.
  •  Ability to regularly appear for work.

Working Environment: Primarily Office environment but at times exposed to heat/cold weather, radiation, chemicals (paints/primers)

  • Safety Glasses:  Needed in all areas of the plant.
  • Steel toe shoes:  Needed in all areas of the plant.
There will be some lifting and position for such things as steel/aluminum parts and fixtures.
