Will be responsible for leading the administration of the Quality Assurance System (QMS) to ensure compliance to customer-specific specifications, requirements and mandates by contract flow down and/or design activities. Candidate will lead the current Quality Assurance structure and will support the Quality Assurance Policy, Mission and Vision statements.  

•Establish procedures for maintaining high standards of quality and reliability.

•Organize and promote company-wide quality improvement efforts.
•Evaluate and develop improved techniques for the control of quality and reliability.
•Directly responsible for implementation and maintenance of the company quality system, reporting on the performance of the quality system for review and as a basis for improvement of the quality system.
•Act as liaison with external parties on matters relating to the quality system.
•Supervision of department personnel.
•Establish the quality planning for development programs, participate and coordinate of the FA process from the QA system and requirements prospective.
•Interface with internal and external customers regarding nonconforming product, product quality and compliance, process compliance, and will assist in documenting and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
•Assist in customer visits and attend to external process and quality audits-as required.
•Assist in preparing monthly reports to be presented to executive management for periodic review.
•Participate in customer-provided training or industry-offered training seminars.
•May require traveling to visit customers-as required.
•Participate and coordinate internal audits, perform follow-up audits and assist in incorporating any changes and/or modifications to the QMS in concurrence with the approval of the Quality Assurance Manager.
•Acquire additional certifications and credentials as required for work or career development.
•Maintain a clean, organized work area.
•Comply with all safety, DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures.
Work on/participate in special projects as needed or assigned by Management
Requirements:•Bachelor Degree or relevant working experience.
•At least 5 years of experience in a Casting Processing environment.
•Working knowledge of developing QMS in compliance with AS9100 and NADCAP Requirements.
