Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) has an immediate need for an individual interested in a solid career in manufacturing. This is an entry level 2nd shift position with scheduled advancement and growth.  This individual will train for FPI (Fluorescent Penetrant Inspector) Level I Certification in preparation for a possible FPI Level II Certification. Purpose of this position is to perform the required duties relating to penetrant processing of product. Position reports to the Manufacturing Manager of Finishing.

Major Responsibilities:
  • Conduct tests, interpret, evaluate and document data in accordance with codes, standards and other contractual documents; accurately record results
  • Ability to access all required documents and to work from detailed instructions
  • Set up and calibrate equipment
  • Conduct tests, interpret, evaluate and document data
 Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Manufacturing experience preferred
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to read and to write legibly
  • Good communication skills
  • Good problem-solving skills
