Consolidated Precision Products (CPP), a manufacturer of highly complex aluminum & magnesium aerospace castings is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join the team at our plant in Bloomington, MN.  

We are looking for a motivated and driven individual that can drive execution in a diverse, challenging environment.  The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for placing top tier talent across all levels of the organization.  Reporting to the HR Director, this position will focus on recruiting in our Bloomington, MN and Pomona, CA sites. The role requires strong partnership with hiring managers, identifying candidate profiles and competencies, and managing the entire talent acquisition process.

Major Responsibilities
  • Develops and executes talent acquisition processes and strategies.
  • Maintains recruitment records and applicant tracking in accordance with regulatory and record keeping requirements. 
  • Build solid relationships with leadership teams and serve as a partner before, during, and after the recruiting process.
  • Monitor sourcing data, time to fill, and cost per hire metrics.
  • Works with department managers to identify staffing needs, develop candidate profiles and lead the talent acquisition process.
  • Coordinate’s talent acquisition efforts for exempt and nonexempt employees, internships and temporary staffing
  • Provides full cycle recruiting and hiring support, including job postings, building candidate profiles, interviewing, debrief meetings, employment offers and new-hire orientation.
  • Screen talent pools to confirm qualifications and fit to build candidate pool.
  • Experience in direct sourcing, networking, and social media recruiting.
  • Perform targeted candidate searches to increase applicant flow via internet job boards, employee referrals, local advertising and social networks.
  • Work in partnership with the HR team for alignment in the recruiting process.
  • Strong organizational, time management and process management skills necessary to maintain workload and manage competing demands.
  • Knowledge of state and federal laws regarding employment and hiring practices.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills; ability to collaborate and influence all layers of the organization.
  • Ability to leverage both the internal and external talent pipeline to identify the best candidate for critical roles.
  • Knowledge of and the ability to utilize Applicant Tracking Systems, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Knowledge of recruitment trends and practices.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelors’ degree in Human Resources Management or related field required
  • Experience: 4+ years of recruiting experience
  • Certifications/Licenses: PHR/SHRM-CP preferred
