Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) has an immediate need for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk for Wollaston Alloys Inc. in Braintree, MA, to join our team. Wollaston Alloys is a stainless steel and high alloy sand casting foundry that manufactures castings for the military and power generation industries.

Responsibilities include:
  • Perform shipping duties including verification and preparation of shipment of products. Perform the duty of checking, counting, and identifying by pattern number and alloy, castings for the preparation of packing. Occasionally lift heavy material over 15% of the time for shipment. Responsible for the accuracy of casting weights.  Maintain accurate records of extra castings.
  • Prepare and ensure accuracy of documentation for export control purposes.
  • Maintain adequate shipping supplies and re-ordering more when needed.
  • Responsible for shipments to be loaded on proper common carriers. Prepares all small package shipments. Obtain quotes for trucking services.
  • Accurately maintain information in information systems.
  • Maintains work area in clean, safe, and orderly condition.
  • Perform various receiving duties including verifying incoming shipments to ensure correct quantity is received and no damaged goods are received under the general supervision of the Production Control Supervisor. Notify department heads when items have arrived and location. Record all received items in Odyssey system.
Qualifications:
  • Must be able to lift or maneuver up to 75 lbs.
  • Must be able to qualify for forklift driver license within four weeks of beginning in the position and act as back-up driver.
  • Ability to communicate with customers in English verbally and in writing.
  • Computer skills using Odyssey, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
