CPP- Euclid- Metllographer (Euclid, OH)

Job Summary:
Cut, mount and polish samples for metallographic evaluation.

Essential Tasks:

Log in work requests on the computer system
Section castings, create clear photographs, and manufacture micros using the Met Lab equipment keeping proper traceability of all pieces and remnants
Log all micros using the lab form
Clean/maintain lab equipment
Able to work with Engineers as necessary to understand the requirements

Job Qualifications:
Education: HS or equivalent

Knowledge

Able with training to read comprehend section plans/drawings
English Language – Basic reading, writing and speaking skills
Computer Skills – Knowledge of basic computer functions as well as Microsoft Programs such as Word and Excel

Skills

Good with hands mechanically oriented
Efficiency – Produce quality micros in a timely manner
Communication – Ability to keep others informed in the lab regarding project updates, issues, or planning
