Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) is currently seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team on 1st shift, which is scheduled Monday through Friday at 6:00am to 2:30pm.  This role reports to the Estimating Manager at our plant in Everett, Washington and is considered a critical member of the CPP-Everett team, working closely with the team to manufacture aerospace components as per drawing.  CPP offers a competitive compensation & benefits package which includes a bonus program that is paid quarterly, medical/dental/vision/life insurance, 401K, paid vacation & holidays, including safety boots, company-supplied tools, paid training, defined career progression within the Lathe team and many opportunities to pick up overtime shifts.

Major Responsibilities
  • Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents
  • Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
  • Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.
  • Presents prepared estimate on final bid sheet for final review and approval. This displays all assemblies, numerical and descriptive information.
  • Maintains cost data base by entering and backing up data into Vista (Quote Entry) and Bid Sheet (Excel Worksheet) under specific part number on F:QuoteSheets.
About You
  • Machining Background 5 years minimum with a background with Lathe and Mill machining, turning experience necessary.
  • Fluent understanding in reading and interpreting Blueprints and Parts List
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Excel Worksheets
  • Proper and professional etiquette when dealing with Vendors (email & phone calls)
