Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) is seeking a Maintenance Buyer to join our team. The Maintenance Buyer will maintain Purchasing functions for stock, non-stock, consumable and specialized parts for the maintenance and production teams. They will be responsible for coordination of all CAPEX related purchasing items. The Buyer will develop and maintain the maintenance spare parts catalog along with BOM development. The Buyer will maintain minimum stock levels and all inventory in the storeroom. You will also manage new and existing vendor relationships This role reports to the Maintenance Director at our plant in Bloomington, MN and is considered a critical member of the CPP-Minneapolis team, working closely with the Maintenance and Operations groups on a daily basis to minimize downtime.

Major Responsibilities
  • Execute receipts into ERP per procedures.
  • Receives in and processes RGA’s to next stage.  Keeps file of current and open RGA’s.
  • Qualified to operate forklift and power pallet jack.
  • Monitor designated supply levels and order restock as needed.
  • Monitor purchase order requisitions and issue PO’s as required.
  • Monitor tool crib activity, inventory, and ordering.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area
  • Comply with all safety, DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures
  • Ability to work overtime
  • Attendance
  • Ability to work at the Bloomington facility
  • Work on/participate in special projects as needed or assigned by Management

About You
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience: 4 years of directly related experience in a warehouse or shipping or maintenance inventory
  • Certifications/Licenses: Forklift License
  • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills required
