JOB DESCRIPTION: 3D Production Technician

  • Perform manufacturing of resin and ceramic slurry
  • Maintain inventories of all raw materials, manufacturing specific consumables and perishable products
  • Perform ceramic core manufacturing processes in accordance with AS9100 requirements
  • Read, comprehend, and adhere to work instructions and procedures with emphasis on quality
  • Work to production schedules in support of fulfilling demand
  • Work directly and cooperatively with cross-functional team members to troubleshoot issues and ensure emphasis on quality
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedure, rules and regulations
  • Perform all other duties assigned by supervisor or manager

  • High school, GED, or Associate degree; experience in production environments preferred
  • Experience with hazardous materials and 3D printing preferred
  • Experience with quality inspection preferred
  • Experience with Oracle and/or other ERP system preferred
  • Ability to engage closely with engineers to develop and execute experiments
  • Attention to detail
  • Flexibility regarding schedule for potential staggered shifts to meet production demand
  • Affinity for a fast-paced environment with changing directives and moderate levels of ambiguity
  • Written and spoken fluency in English required

  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Use of hands to handle, feel and reach
  • Ability to handle, adjust and transport fragile manufactured parts
  • Regular movement across a ~6,000 sf production floor
  • Ability to lift 50lbs with 2 hands
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl
  • Demonstration of good sight and hearing
